It is with great sadness and regret that I must inform you of the sudden and untimely death of my husband David Utick, who passed away in his sleep Friday July 25th. As many of you know, David was intimately involved in the development and success of Hehr for over twenty-five years, and I know that he will be greatly missed by family and employees alike.

Hehr and its affiliated companies will continue to operate as they have with no changes in staffing and operations. To this end, the board of directors has elected, Mary Utick, the CEO of Hehr International Inc.

David J. Utick Utick, David J. 8/30/1943 - 7/25/2008.

Survived by wife, Mary Utick; son, John Utick; daughters, Jennifer Sim and Elizabeth Utick; grandson, Jason Sim; sisters, Julie Boxley and Bernadette Bellah; brother, Frank Utick; six nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Blazek and his parents Frank and Margaret Utick.

Prayer Vigil will be held August 7, 2008, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Saddleback Mortuary Chapel, 220 E. Main St. Tustin. Funeral Mass will be held August 8, 2008, 12:00 noon at Holy Family Cathedral, 566 S. Glassell St., Orange, CA 92866.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to University of Notre Dame, Hehr International - David Utick Scholarship, 100 Grace Hall, Notre Dame, IN 46556 or the David J. Utick Scholarship Fund, Mater Dei High School, 1202 W. Edinger Ave,, Santa Ana, CA 92707.
